About Us

We are Marla and Mike Pendleton, small business owners of The Pendleton Studio. We started our creative journey in 2020 as clay dates at a local shop near our home. It was clear early on that our date night was to become a small business we both love. We bought a second hand wheel and kiln to get us off the ground and started taking more clay classes to continue our skills. We have been invited to small art and plant shows around Detroit and Metro Detroit. We have met so many wonderful people and made many connections with our community.
